Somerville Open Studios is a citywide art event, where hundreds of artists open their studios and invite the public in to see their art. Somerville Open Studios 2020 did not take place in person on May 2 and 3. Planning is beginning for SOS 2021.

Virtual Meeting
We held six live in person Zoom meetings with artists during SOS weekend, May 2-3. We may schedule additional Zoom meetings later in the spring and summer if there is sufficient interest. Find Out More
Update your profile
We encourage all artists to update the photos and statements on your SOS profile pages. We have increased the number of profile images from 3 to 4. (Artists who paid for Expanded Web still have 8 images.)

Some resources from the Somerville Arts Council
Somerville Creates is a new Facebook group where Somerville artists can post short video presentations of their work.
The Home Alone Art Series is a curated series of longer-form art-related performances to be live-streamed on Facebook. Participants who are selected will receive a $300 stipend from the Somerville Arts Council.
A list of Covid-19 resources for artists, compiled by the Somerville Arts Council. The list is subdivided into financial, educational, music and tech, calls for art, and entertainment and humor.
